Mohamud Abdalle
Executive Director / Board Chairman
An entrepreneur with a professional career spanning over 35 years, including executive management positions held in International Charity Foundation as Financial Director/Comptroller, United Nations Industrial Development Organization as Marketing Management Consultant, Somali Ministry of Industry and Commerce as Director of Industrial Projects and Amal Group as shareholder and Chairman of the Board. Mr.Mohamoud is an associate member of Institute of Islamic Banking & Insurance with a Post-graduate Di ploma in Islamic Banking and Insurance. He holds a Masters’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno, USA and Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Insurance from IIBI London, UK
Mr. Jama Mohamed Isse

Jama has 20 years of experience in Investment Management and Money Transfer as Founder and General Manager of Orsheyal Remittance Company and General Manager of Amal commercial brokerage LLC. A major shareholder in Amal Group and a board member of several organizations including First Community Bank which is a fully fledged licensed Islamic bank in Kenya.
Mr. Dahir Ismail Mohamed

Former Managing Director of Amal Express, a global money transfer company with over 25 years of professional experience in Money Transfer and Islamic Banking. Mr. Dahir has extensive knowledge and experience in financial industry and entrepreneurship as a major shareholder and manager.
Mr. Yusuf Ahmed Dahir

Mr Yusuf is a highly experienced finance professional and successful entrepreneur. With a career spanning over three decades, he has held various leadership positions in renowned companies in the finance sector. Currently, he serves as the Director and East Africa Regional Head of Hope Group, where he has been instrumental in driving growth and profitability in the region. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Maahir Holdings Ltd and the Finance Director of Hashi Empex Ltd, where he played a key role in expanding the companies’ operations and increasing revenue. Before embarking on his corporate career, Mr. Yusuf was self-employed for five years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounts & Auditing from Poona University in India. He is also major shareholder in Amal Group.
Mr. Yusuf Ali Juma

Former Managing Director of Amal Trade with over 20 years of experience in Investment Management, Money Transfer and General Trade as an entrepreneur, a major shareholder and an Executive with Amal Group, a diversified global company that operates in various sectors. Mr. Yusuf holds a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Mr. Abdidahir Ali Hersi
Non Executive Director
An entrepreneur and current CEO of Amal Group and the Managing Director of Amal Real Estate. Mr. Hirsi has about 20 years of professional experience with Amal Group spanning various functions in Operations, Money Transfer, Trade Services, Real Estate. Mr. Abdidahir is an associate member of Institute of Certified Professional Managers and holds a Master of Business Administration in International Trade.
Dr. Abdiqafar Yasin Farah

Abdiqafar holds a PhD. in Defence and Strategic Studies, Master of Defence and Strategic Studies (Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Pune-India), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Loyola College, University of Madras(India). Dr. Abdiqafar is researcher and an academic havibg more than 20 years of working experience in private, public and UN institutions and held various positions.
Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Issa

Financial and business analyst and practitioner in a career spanning over 25 years, including executive management positions in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company and Somali Institute of Development Administration & Management (SIDAM). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Delaware State Board of Accountancy; Certified Financial Consultant (CFC) from Institute of Financial Consultants, Vancouver, Canada; Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA) from Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, Manama, Bahrain. Mr Mohamed is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute, Virginia, USA with practical experience in financial planning, directing and control.

Mohamed Abdirisak Issa

Mohamed Abdirisak Issa is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Marketing Manager HQ at Amal Express. With a background as the Head of Customer Care at the same company and prior roles in operations and branch management, he possesses a versatile skill set ranging from customer service enhancement to operations optimization. His education includes a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a B.A (Hons) in Sharia and Islamic Studies. His expertise spans strategic planning, team leadership, budget management, and marketing strategy.
